Rowan Helping Ministries’ donors are amazing because you give from your hearts so that our most fragile neighbors in Rowan County can live better lives.

Last year, your donation to our #GivingTuesday campaign was used to provide shelter services to local individuals and families who were homeless. Thank you for participating in last year’s global day of giving to help those in need.

On Tuesday, November 29, Rowan Helping Ministries will again join with thousands of nonprofits across the globe to celebrate #GivingTuesday and encourage giving back. We invite you to support your neighbors in need in one or both of the following ways:

Give a donation to Rowan Helping Ministries so that families struggling to pay overdue rent and utility bills can stay warm and in their own homes. Our goal for the campaign this year is $5,000, which will allow 17 families to receive financial assistance.
Give your time as a volunteer at Rowan Helping Ministries – December is the busiest month in our Food Pantry as up to 80 families a day come to get food during the holiday season. We need a minimum of 25 volunteers each day in the Food Pantry to pack groceries for clients, restock shelves, receive food donations on our dock and pick up food donations at grocery stores. For families who want to work together to help those in need, we have evening and weekend volunteer opportunities.

Thank you for caring for those in need under the Rowan Helping Ministries’ banner. Your support is critical as we work together to make a difference in our community.
