Assistance Available at Rowan Helping Ministries
Eagle's Nest The Eagle Nest program at Rowan Helping Ministries consist of Eagle's Nest I and II. Eagle's Nest I is for single parents with one to two children and they reside in four small efficiency apartments. Parents are required to work, pay a program fee and attend various self-improvement programs such as budgeting, counseling and parenting classes. For those who succeed and qualify, a habitat House may be approved. Eagle's Nest II is the newest transitional housing program and has six units that are reserved for individuals who are homeless but working. Residents also must pay a program fee and attend appropriate self-improvement programs.
