The Crisis Assistance Network The Rowan Helping Ministries Crisis Assistance Network provides financial assistance, food, and clothing to Rowan County residents in a crisis. Please scroll to the bottom of the page to see what information you must bring to Rowan Helping Ministries to receive assistance. For more information you can call (704) 633-5771! Financial Assistance Rowan Helping Ministries has funds available to individuals and families who qualify to help prevent disruption in electrical, natural gas, and water service. Funds are also available to help with eviction notices, medication, and mortgages up for foreclosures. Food Pantry Rowan Helping Ministries has food available to residents of Rowan County. The food is available every thirty days for residents that are disabled, laid off, or elderly (over 60). All other residents can receive food every sixty days. Clothing Center Clothing is available to residents of Rowan County every thirty days.

Rowan Helping Ministries Crisis Assistance Network All Clients Must Provide the Following Information before Financial Assistance can be Considered
(We do not help with controlled substances)
Deposits for Rent, Electricity, Gas or Water are not available through RHM’s regularly funded programs. Occasionally, certain Government funded programs allow deposits for rent and specific utilities. However, those programs are not always available. When they are available, funding is limited and clients must meet qualifying criteria. You need to bring the preceding information and any other information that will help Rowan Helping Ministries understand your crisis. Rowan Helping Ministries’ funds are limited and must resolve the crisis. However, if you do not have the information today, you can still be interviewed. **NOTICE** Rowan Helping Ministries is unable to assist with:
Bankruptcy, Eye Glasses, Bus Passes, Gasoline, Cable/Satellite Bills, Car Insurance Payment, Car Repairs, Medical Bills, Cellular Phones, Motel/Hotel Payments, Child Care/Day Care, Pagers, Credit Card Payments, Redemption of NSF Checks, Electric Accounts that are EP (Energy Protection), Telephones, Anything that fails to qualify as a necessity of life, Transportation.
