How Does It Work?
We will assign your group a neighborhood, provide empty bags, and an informational flyer to attach to the bags. Between the dates of 10/26-11/2, groups of youth will set out across the county to place bags on the doorsteps of our neighbors with the hope that they will fill the bags with non-perishable items for those in need. The group will then return at a specified date to collect the full bags and bring them to Rowan Helping Ministries on Sunday, November 3rd. Collections will be weighed and sorted at the official “weigh-in” event. Pizza and refreshments will be available to all participants afterwards! If you cannot distribute bags in the community, we encourage you to hold a collection within your church, school, or organization.

Trick Or Treat So Others May Eat 2019 is set to take place the week of October 26th-November 2nd, with the weigh-in event taking place on Sunday, November 3rd.
Rowan Helping Ministries needs your help to carry out one of the largest community-wide food drives which will restock and replenish the food pantry. Our food pantry distributes nearly 2,000 pounds of food a DAY. This food drive will help us provide our neighbors in need with supplemental groceries for close to a month!
